WASH Project

Improved hygiene and sanitation are imperative for community well-being, especially for children and women. Access to WASH services positively impacts health, life expectancy, education, and gender equality. In India, lack of sanitation causes around 700,000 child deaths annually due to diarrhea. DFM Foods supports Habitat for Humanity's initiative to provide hygiene kits and training to students, sensitizing communities in North India's five cities - Delhi, Greater Noida, Dehradun, Lucknow, and Varanasi. DFM's WASH program has been ongoing in FY 2021-22 and 2022-23.

COVID support activity

During the COVID pandemic, DFM Foods recognized the immense impact on underprivileged communities. We distributed food packets and masks in 16 cities, including Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur, and more. Alongside our philanthropic efforts, we conducted COVID awareness programs, emphasizing safety measures like social distancing and hand sanitizing. With approximately 1 lakh masks and 3 lakh snack food packets distributed, we take pride in supporting our fellow citizens in their time of need. Our commitment to social responsibility continues to drive us toward proactive participation in such initiatives.
