Nutrition-literacy program

DFM Foods believes in the power of children as change agents for promoting safe and nutritious food. We partnered with FSSAI's “Eat Right School” initiative to deliver this message through various activities in 60 Delhi NCR schools during FY 2020-21. Over 40,000 students were trained through virtual awareness sessions led by health and wellness coordinators, including two webinars with 12 renowned speakers and more than 50,000 viewers. Together, we are fostering a culture of wholesome eating for a healthier future.

Crax Responsible Indulgence Awareness Drive

DFM Foods is a socially responsible organization and has been proactively supporting initiatives to educate school children on Eating Safe, Eating Healthy, and Eating Sustainably. DFM Foods collaborated with Adaavi Enterprizes- empanelled implementation agency with Food Safety Standards Authority of India ,embarked on a mission to make a positive impact on the lives of school children in India. DFM Foods implemented awareness-building activities focused on promoting responsible indulgence of safe, nutritious, and sustainable foods among school children in the DELHI-NCR region during the 2022-2023 financial year. Objectives of this initiative were to conduct thematic awareness programs and activities that promote responsible indulgence among school children, encourage them to integrate Food Safety Standards Authority of India’s flagship initiative’s Eat Right Schools health concepts into their lives, and inspire schools to participate in the Crax Responsible Indulgence Drive campaign, thus expanding the reach of these important concepts. Total 30 Schools from New Delhi- NCR from Gurugram, Noida, Noida Extension, Greater Noida, Indirapuram, Vaishali, Khurja, Jewar, Ishanpur, and Brij Vihar actively participated in the Crax Responsible Indulgence Drive. School children were engaged in project-based learning towards promoting Responsible Indulgence of safe, nutritious and Sustainable Foods based on EAT RIGHT SCHOOL mission, a flagship initiative of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. SAJAG

Improving nutritional status of children in the age group of 6-14 years

DFM Foods is committed to improving the health of children in India and has collaborated with MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child for Project "SAJAG" in selected urban slums. The project aims to monitor the growth and development of about 6000 children aged 6-14 years, ensuring proper nutrition and health. SAJAG focuses on spreading awareness about nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation through health screening camps and educational materials.
